We plan where any seams fall so they sit in low-visibility spots and the pattern lines up.
3. Deep clean and prep
Countertops hold grease, limescale and polish residue. We degrease and prepare the surface, and fill small chips and scratches.
4. Wrapping and heat-forming
The film is applied, smoothed bubble-free and heat-formed around edges and corners.
5. Trimming and sealing
We trim around the sink, hob and walls and seal exposed edges to keep water out.
6. Handover and care briefing
We clean up and explain how to look after it, including how long to wait before heavy use. (for example, 24 hours)

Yes, the stone is cleaned and prepared so the adhesive bonds properly. If the stone is cracked, badly etched or crumbling, it needs repair first.
No. Vinyl can tolerate everyday kitchen warmth but not direct heat from a pan off the hob. Always use a trivet or heat mat.
We advise against it. A sharp knife can cut through the film. Use a chopping board.
Not if it is installed and sealed properly. We seal the edges around the sink and recommend wiping standing water away. Poorly sealed edges are the most common cause of lifting.
