The surface and the door shape decide how good the result will be. This is what we usually see in Dubai kitchens:
| Your cabinet type | Can it be wrapped? | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Flat / slab doors (melamine, laminate, MDF) | Yes, ideal | The cleanest, most seamless result |
| Painted or lacquered MDF | Yes | The paint must be sound, with no flaking |
| High-gloss acrylic or UV doors | Yes | The surface is keyed for adhesion before wrapping |
| Shaker doors (framed panel) | Yes, with care | The film is worked into the groove and each corner is cut and folded. Allow a little more time |
| Routed or grooved doors | Needs assessment | Deep or sharp profiles can limit the finish. We tell you honestly after a site check |
| Vacuum-formed PVC / thermofoil doors | Needs assessment | Fine if firmly bonded. Peeling or blistering foil must be fixed or removed first |
| Solid wood or veneer | Yes | Light sanding may be needed to key the surface |
| Glass-front doors | Frame only | The glass stays as it is |
| Swollen, warped or water-damaged MDF | No | Wrap cannot fix structural damage. We recommend repair or replacement instead |
Not sure what you have? Send a photo of a door and a drawer through WhatsApp/Call and we will tell you.
The right cabinet finish can transform the look and feel of your entire kitchen. Our Interior kitchen wrapping company offers a range of vinyl finishes, including matte, high gloss, wood grain, solid colours, stone effects and textured designs. Choose light shades to brighten smaller kitchens, darker tones for a sophisticated look, or two-tone combinations for added contrast.
We help you find a finish that complements your countertops, flooring and appliances. Our team brings physical samples to your home so you can compare colours under your own lighting before making a decision

1. Site check and samples
We look at the doors, drawers and frames, check for damage and confirm what can be wrapped. You choose the film from samples.
2. Doors and hardware removed
Doors and drawer fronts are taken down where possible, and handles and hinges are removed. Wrapping off the cabinet gives cleaner edges than wrapping in place.
3. Deep clean and degrease
Kitchen cabinets collect cooking grease you can't always see. Every surface is degreased and dried so the adhesive bonds properly.
4. Repairs and surface prep
Small chips and dents are filled and smoothed so they don't show through. Glossy or lacquered surfaces are keyed for grip.
5. Wrapping and heat-forming
Film is cut to each door, drawer front and panel, then heat-formed around edges and into grooves so it follows the shape.
6. Edge sealing and trimming
Edges and corners are trimmed and sealed. This is the step that decides whether a wrap lasts.
You can have us supply the film, give us a design idea to match, or have us install film you’ve already bought. All three work for cabinets.
If you’ve already bought your film: send us the brand, product code and the number of doors, drawer fronts and panels, with rough sizes. We will check that the film suits cabinets and tell you if you need to order more. Cabinet doors use more film than people expect because every edge needs overlap for wrapping around.
Cabinet wrapping is usually priced by the amount of surface covered. These are the main factors:
Upgrade your kitchen with stylish and durable vinyl wraps.

Yes, where possible. We take down doors and drawer fronts, remove handles and hinges, wrap them flat and refit them. That gives cleaner edges than wrapping in place.
Shaker doors can be wrapped, but they take more care because the film has to sit inside the groove and each inside corner is cut and folded. Deeply routed or carved doors need assessment first, and we'll tell you honestly what finish to expect.
If the old film is firmly bonded, yes. If it is peeling, blistering or lifting, it has to be repaired or removed first, because new film can only be as secure as what is under it.
Yes, on request. Many customers only wrap the outside, which is the visible part. Tell us at the quote stage if you want the inside too.
Small chips and dents can be filled before wrapping. Wrap is thin, so large damage, swelling or warping will still show. We tell you when replacement is the better answer.
Most standard kitchens take one to three days. Larger kitchens, shaker doors, or jobs including plinths, cornices and insides of cabinets can take longer. We confirm the timing after the site check.
Yes. Many customers wrap only the wall units, only the doors, or a single feature run such as tall units. We can also mix two finishes, for example light wall units and dark base units.
Yes. A professional can remove the film and leave the surface underneath in good condition, provided the surface was sound at the start. Removal and re-wrapping are quoted separately.
Wrapping is faster, has no fumes or drying time, and offers wood, marble and textured finishes that paint can't. Painting suits solid wood cabinets you want in a single colour.
